The Primal Golf Method™ Junior 4-Hour Package is a personalized, one-on-one coaching experience designed to help junior golfers build the fundamentals that matter most: Setup, Motion, and Pace.
Rather than overwhelming young golfers with swing mechanics and technical positions, Mike Wray teaches them how to create a simple, natural, repeatable motion—and the confidence to take it onto the course.
1. SETUP — Build a Repeatable Foundation
Learn how to find a natural, athletic setup that creates consistency from shot to shot. Juniors develop a setup they can trust without constantly thinking about positions.
2. MOTION — Learn to Move, Not Manipulate
Develop a simple, athletic golf motion based on how the body naturally moves. The goal is less technical thinking and more freedom, speed, and consistency.
3. PACE — Find Your Natural Rhythm
Discover the ideal pace for each golfer and learn how rhythm influences contact, distance control, and consistency.
4. TRANSFER — Take It to the Course
Turn practice into performance. Juniors learn how to apply their skills to real shots, real targets, and real playing situations.
Session 1 — Discover
Establish the fundamentals of Setup and Motion while identifying the junior's natural tendencies, strengths, and opportunities.
Session 2 — Develop
Build consistency through repeatable Setup, Motion, and Pace. Establish simple practice priorities the junior can continue working on independently.
Session 3 — Calibrate
Measure progress, refine distance and shot control, and develop a more reliable pre-shot routine and approach to practice.
Session 4 — Perform
Take the skills into simulated playing situations. Learn how to manage targets, pressure, decision-making, and pace while building confidence on the course.
Less Thinking. More Playing.
The Primal Golf Method™ helps young golfers:
Build a reliable foundation
Develop natural athletic motion
Improve consistency and distance control
Practice with purpose
Build confidence over the ball
Transfer skills from the simulator to the course
Prepare to compete without becoming overwhelmed by technique
Every junior is different. Mike Wray's coaching is personalized to the golfer—not a one-size-fits-all swing model.
The objective isn't to create a perfect-looking swing.
It's to create a golfer who knows what to do, trusts it, and can perform when it matters.
Four hours. One-on-one with Mike Wray. A foundation for a lifetime of better golf.
The 90-Minute Initial Junior Session with Mike Wray is designed to give young golfers a personalized introduction to the Primal Golf Method™ while helping Mike understand how they learn, move, practice, and play.
Instead of immediately rebuilding a junior's swing, the session focuses on discovery, fundamentals, and creating a simple path to improvement.
DISCOVER — Understand the Golfer
Evaluate the junior's current skills, athletic movement, setup, ball flight, and overall approach to the game. Identify strengths, opportunities, and the areas that can create the biggest improvement.
SETUP — Create a Reliable Starting Point
Introduce the Primal Golf Method™ approach to setup and help the junior develop a natural, athletic position that can be repeated without excessive technical thinking.
MOTION — Learn Simple, Natural Movement
Introduce the fundamentals of Primal Motion and help the junior learn to move the club naturally rather than becoming dependent on complicated swing mechanics.
PACE — Find Their Natural Rhythm
Introduce the concept of Pace and begin identifying the rhythm that allows the junior to make consistent, balanced swings.
BUILD CONFIDENCE — Make Golf Simpler
The goal is not to overload a young golfer with information. It's to give them a few simple things they can understand, practice, and trust.
At the end of the 90-minute session, the junior and parent will have:
A better understanding of the golfer's current strengths and opportunities
An introduction to the Primal Golf Method™
A clear understanding of Setup, Motion, and Pace
Simple fundamentals to work on between sessions
Initial performance benchmarks
A personalized roadmap for continued development
Don't build a complicated swing. Build a better golfer.
The Primal Golf Method™ is designed to help juniors develop skills they can take from the simulator to the course—and eventually into competition.
One session. Real insights. A stronger foundation for a lifetime of golf.
